Mohair Dickie
Mar 11th, 2009 by Jhonne Jones
I worked up a pattern for a mohair dickie knitted from the top down and using short rows for the front and back sections. You can find the pattern by clicking here
Please feel free to download it and enjoy. I made notes in it as to how I worked the short rows, but there are many different ways and lot of tutorials on it on the internet. Use whichever way seems easiest for you.
Hi, I’m knitting this lovely pattern. Thank you for sharing it!
I have a question for you. After you say to place the markers, you say, “I arranged my knitting so that the middle of the shoulders were WHERE MY LOOP CAME THROUGH (?). That way, the increases were not done BY WHERE THE NEEDLES SPLIT (?).
I’m not sure what loop you mean or what you mean by where the needles split. Can you shed any light on this?
Thanks,
Elaine in WI
When I knitted this, I used one single circular knitting needle. the loop I’m referring to is where I split the front and the back on the circular needles.
