I am really late in getting this up. I’m not sure exactly what all has happened as of late, but I wanted to let everyone know that Simon and Lindsey had their first son, Zane Gibson Porter, on January 21, 2009.
They were able to have him at home and he weighed in at 7 lbs 8 oz and was 21 inches long. He has had a couple of check ups since then and is doing well.

Lindsey has updated their blog for anyone who wants to keep track of what’s going on in their world. It’s amazing how much closer we can feel to family who live far off now. The internet brings our lives so much nearer than a written letter or even a phone call can.
